Acorn Court is an ideal location for walking and exploring. Llandrindod Wells offers indoor and outdoor bowing. There are 2 Golf courses nearby. Lots of parking space.There are many nice places to eat... Just half a mile away in Howey there is the Laughing Dog Inn and The Drovers Thai Restaurant. In Llandrindod Wells there several incl. Jules Restaurant and Wine Bar Spencers Brasserie and In Llanyre just 3 miles away there is the Bell Country Inn which serves excellent food.We are just 5 miles from the Royal Welsh showground at Builth Wells where they hold many events throughout the year.Just 10 miles away there is the beautiful Elan Valley and the lovely market town of Rhayader. It is also home to Gigrin Farm and the fabulous Red Kite Feeding Centre. Or maybe you would like to step back in time and visit the Judges Lodging at Presteigne. We are lucky to have The Hall at Abbey-Cwm-hir- a truly unique property- especially good to visit around Christmas time. Every June Newtown hosts the Gregynog Music Festival of classical concerts. Enjoy a memorable dayout A little further away at Powis Castle Welshpool with its spetacular gardens.The famous town of Hay-on-Wye with its many book shops is just 25 miles and in early June every year is the Hay Festival of Literature and at the end of June they have their food festival yummy!. If you come and stay at the beginning of August perhaps you would like to visit Brecon Jazz festival which is under an hours drive from us Or step back in time in Llandrindod Wells when the annual Victorian Festival comes to town during the last week of August.If you enjoy walking you will be spoilt for choice with the famous Offa's Dyke Glyndwr's Way or the tranquil Wye Valley Walk all of these routes and many more are nearby.
