WHETHER TRAVELLING NORTH OR SOUTH THE EASIEST ROUTE IS TO EXIT AT LEEMING BAR (ALTERNATIVE EXIT RIPON)From the South- keep on the A1 until north of Ripon turn on to the B6267 sign posted to Masham.From the North- turn off the A1 at Leeming Bar and travel to Bedale then on to the B6268 to Masham. Entering Masham on the A6108. cross over the river bridge along the avenue of trees: turn right up the hill past the garage on the right: take the second turning on the left to Fearby the Black Swan MASHAM is 2 miles on the left in the village of Fearby.
