The Holly Bush has been serving beer for over 300 years and is one of the few ancient drovers inns left in Northumberland.All visitors to the Holly Bush always receive a warm welcome from the locals and you can enjoy a pint of real ale in the bar chatting about the day's activities whilst enjoying the warm ambience that is created by the old black-leaded range.We are located in the beautiful Northumberland National Park in the tiny hamlet of Greenhaugh (please note we are not in Hexham which is 17 miles away). It is an ideal location to visit Kielder Hadrians Wall as well as the Northumberland Coast. Our beer garden has beautiful views of the valley and the night skies can be amazing. All rooms have private facilities and are decorated and maintained to a very high standard.

Directions to Holly Bush Inn Northumberland

From the A68 Jedburgh to Corbridge Road - turn onto B6320 which is signed for Belligham. Take the 1st righ turning and follow road down to a T junction turn right into Greenhaugh and the Holly Bush can be found on the left hand side of the road.From Hexham A69 or Bellingham - take the road marked Kielder Reservoir which is on a bend by the Catholc Church and follow this road for 3 miles until you reach a T junction turn right and continue on into Greenhaugh where the Holly Bush can be found on the left hand side of the road.
