Our home is surrounded by open countryside and well kept gardens with patio furniture available. Bassenthwaite Lake and Silver Meadows a wet land board walk of approx.1.5 km are a haven for wildlife not to be missed. Visit in spring when the nesting Ospreys return when daffodils cover the garden and when new born lambs gambol in the fields next to the house or in Autumn to see the changing colours of the fells or in Winter to enjoy the snow capped peaks. We are a year round destination.Wake up to a hearty Cumberland breakfast made with finest local produce including free range eggs fresh fruit and home made granola which will set you up for the day. We can also provide evening meals on request and are happy to send you off with a packed lunch and full flask. Directions to LINK HOUSE by Bassenthwaite Lake Cockermouth

From Junction 40 on M6 take the A66 west towards Keswick. Continue past Keswick on the A66 to the northern end of Bassenthwaite Lake 400 metres after the dual carriageway ends take a right turn (signposted Castle Inn Dubwath). FOLLOW THE ROAD ROUND TO THE LEFT and Link House is at the top of the hill on your right.
