Poplar House position is set-back from Scarcroft Road. and actually is next door over-looks the 'Scarcroft Bowling Green's' which are also on Scarcroft Road. Poplar House is about 200 yards from the Hotel Du Vin (which is on Blossom St. Tadcaster Rd.)
