SlowSheep BandB got its name from our Reggie our ram who used to walk across the road at an astonishingly slow speed. He was huge and solid and if he stopped everything else stopped including the mobile library. We offer welcoming friendly comfy accommodation on a small farmstead less than 10 minutes west of Berwick on a small farmstead in the hamlet of Foulden Newton. This is a farm and we have animals on the premises. We are not a 5 hotel nor a Boutique establishment.We are homely and I cannot emphasise this enough. We have two double rooms to let in a converted barn. It also has a TV Lounge Wifi Videos and CDs and a bathroom and shower room to share. We also have a whippet and two cats. Outside we have sheepdogs sheep pigmy goats horses and a pony.Our horses are a rare breed and critical on the endangered species list. If you are touring this area we are ideally placed and we are not far from the station if you would like to go to Edinburgh or Newcastle by train for a change. We are also ideal for anyone travelling up or down the A1 as we areJust over 5 minutes from it by car. Our breakfasts fill you up and leave you begging for less not more by day three of your stay. So we have invented the lighter alternative. All good fun. Great place to stay. Many repeat visits.Good local knowledge. Can advise you where to dine out. We accept œ(Sterling) or Cheques drawn on a UK Bank Account.We don't accept credit cards - sorry.Late Rooms . The property has large arched windows and sits on the right hand side.If travelling west from the central Scottish Borders take the A6105 from Duns towards Berwick upon Tweed. Just before Foulden village turn right at the crossroads (signposted Foulden Newton) and continue for 12 mile. The property has large arched windows and sits on the right hand side.
