The Inn was purchased in June 2010 by Gawaine and Christina Maxwell formerly of Ballathie House Hotel. It is located on the Main Road in Guildtown only 6 miles from Perth in the heart of Scotland. The ideal location for a relaxing lunch or dinner in a beautiful country setting or stay for a few days in our comfortable accommodation and enjoy some of the activitives this area of Scotland has to offer. Perthshire is renowned for it superb golf courses hillwalking and fishing and The Anglers Inn provides the ideal base for the sports and nature enthusiast looking for a short break in Perthshire Scotland. Fishing and shooting parties are very welcome. We have storage rooms for fishing rods and a gun case for shotguns and rifles. We also have cold rooms and freezers available to store fish game etc.Perth Race Course is just 2 miles from The Anglers Inn making us the ideal choice to stop off for some lunch before going to the races or come in for dinner once the racing has finished and avoid the traffic jams heading back in to Perth.A small intimate restaurant seating just 50 people the Anglers restuarant combines clean modern furnishings with a cosy inn atmosphere to create a welcoming enviroment for all its guests. The restaurant is located in the small village of Guildtown just six miles outside Perth itself. The food is freshly prepared every day using local ingredients. The cooking methods are an eclectic mix of classical French Scottish and more modern techniques which create a unique experience for the diner. Our accommodation comprises of six tastefully styled en-suite bedrooms with flat screen televisions comfortable beds and pleasant views of the surrounding countryside.
