Split into 3 areas. There is the snug which over looks the beautiful countryside and has a view over Sheffield on a good day you can see far and beyond. The lounge at the front of the pub is spacious. The family room also at the front of the pub is a separate room ideal for families. Toys and games are also provided. br / br / br / br / There are 3 comfortable en-suite bedrooms. One Double and two Twin rooms. br / br / Each room is located in the car park at the rear of the property in their own annex over looking the wonderful countryside. All ground floor. br / br / br / br / There are plenty of attractions locally: bird watching walking from novice to experienced hikers/ramblers fishing from fly fishing at Ladybower Reservoir a 15 minute drive away and course fishing at Dam Flask on the doorstep. Also close by are clay pigeon shooting golfing and horse riding (all by arrangement). If you are more into relaxing with a drink then come along and just enjoy the views. During the summer there is the local cricket team at Low Bradfield or visit the historic Bradfield Church at High Bradfield.

M1 NORTHBOUND to HILLSBOROUGH - Road: Leave M1 at Jctn33 head into Sheffield on the (Sheffield Parkway) dual carriageway A630/A57/A61. At the 40mph zone get into the middle lane ready to turn right onto Ring Road at junction 1 - Cutler s Gate. Continue along Ring Road follow signs for Barnsley A61N . keep to inside lane all way on A61N after couple of miles through numerous lights you will see B&Q turn left here. At the small roundabout take 1st exit onto Bradfield Road. NOW FOLLOW DIRECTIONS HILLSBOROUGH TO DUNGWORTH br/ br/ M1 SOUTHBOUND to HILLSBOROUGH - Road: Leave the M1 at Junction 36. Take the A61 into sheffield (Halifax Road) at the traffic lights carry straight onto the dual carriage way (Penistone Road). When you pass the sheffield wednesday football ground on your right get into the right hand lane. Take the first right off the dual carriageway (you will see the KFC ahead of you). Keep in the right hand lane and take the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto Bradfield Road. NOW FOLLOW DIRECTIONS HILLSBOROUGH TO DUNGWORTH br/ br/ HILLSBOROUGH to DUNGWORTH - Road: Bradfield Road use outside lane. Straight across at lights onto holme lane. When enter one way system at malin bridge take 3rd exit (by Champs pub) onto loxley road B6077. Continue along B6077 towards Bradfield. You will pass Wisewood pub on your left Admiral rodney on your right. Just past Nags head on your left take 1st left across bridge of dam. Continue round taking 1st left sign posted dungworth (Very concealed tight hairpin bend) Carry on into village and the Royal is on the left. br/ br/ MANCHESTER VIA SNAKE PASS A57 - Road: After passing the Ladybower Reservoir continue along this road passing the lady bower pub continue on this road taking the 2nd left (Riggs Road) (NOT STRINES) Continue on Riggs Road taking your 1st left (signposted Load Brook / Dungworth) Again take the 1st left down Syke House Lane. At the T junction Turn Left. As you enter the village the Royal Hotel is directly after a small row of cottages on the Right (B6076).
