Directions to The Old Bakers Cottage B&B Burton-on-Trent

Burton upon Trent - Train: If arriving by train in Burton you can get a taxi outside the Station. They will take the B5234 out of Burton passing the St Georges FA Ground and Tatenhill Airfield on your left. When they reach the A515 crossing they will go straight across and come into the village centre of Newborough. You will pass the Red Lion pub on your left and the church is in front of you. We are opposite. Please park on the road infront of the church gate/by the red telephone box. br/ br/ Burton upon Trent - Road: Take the B5234 out of Burton stay on this road (passing a petrol station/Londis on your right at the New Inn roundabout) you will pass FA St George s Ground on your left and then you will come to a cross roads with the A515 go straight across and once you pass the Newborough sign the hill dips down into the centre of the village. The Red Lion pub will be on your left and the church is in front of you. We are on the right opposite the Church. Please park on the road near the red telephone box br/ br/ Lichfield Cathedral/ Rugeley - Road: Leave Lichfield or Rugeley and pick up signs for the A515 towards Ashbourne/Sudbury. You will pass through Kings Bromley and Yoxall and a tiny hamlet of Newchurch still on the A515. After approx 5 miles there will be a signposted left turn into Newborough on the B5234 towards Abbots Bromley. Come down into Newborough village - Red Lion pub on left church in front of you. We are opposite the church. Please park outside the church gate by the red telephone box street parking is unrestricted br/ br/ Lichfield - Train: Turn right out of the either Railway station and head towards A38 Burton upon Trent. Come off the A38 at the exit marked Tamworth/Alrewas. Follow signs for Kings Bromley. At Kings Bromley turn right onto the A515 towards Ashbourne/Sudbury. After approx 5 miles (passing Yoxall and Newchurch) turn left to Newborough on the B5234. Come down into village - Red Lion pub on left church in front of you. We are opposite the church. Please park on the road near the telephone box/church gate. br/ br/ Birmingham - Road: From Birmingham Centre pick up the A38 towards Lichfield. After passing Lichfield exits come off the A38 at the exit marked Tamworth/Alrewas. Follow signs for Kings Bromley. At Kings Bromley turn right onto the A515 towards Ashbourne/Sudbury. After approx 5 miles (passing Yoxall and Newchurch) turn left to Newborough on the B5234. Come down into village - Red Lion pub on left church in front of you. We are opposite the church. Please park on the road near the telephone box
