The Millers Arms occupies a prime spot in the centre of the cathedral city of Canterbury making it a perfect base for visitors to the World Heritage Site and Kent s coastal resorts and countryside. The pub is a short walk from Canterbury Cathedral and the city s cobbled medieval streets brimming with Tudor-beamed shops and The Marlowe Theatre. The Millers Arms was built in 1826 to serve local mill workers and overlooks the Cathedral and the site of the old mill on the causeway. The pub which includes 11 en-suite rooms has been fully refurbished with modern facilities while retaining its character. Popular with the local community as well as visitors the Millers Arms host quiz nights a book club and a theatre society. Customers can enjoy a meal in the restaurant warm themselves by the inglenook fireplace or relax in the attractive courtyard garden. Traditional Kentish cask ale is always available.

Directions to Millers Arms CANTERBURY

The Millers Arms is situated on the river Stour a short walk from the Marlowe Theatre and the town centre. From the end of the M2 southbound take the turnoff for the A2 signposted Canterbury and Dover. Branch left onto the A2050 to Canterbury. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit staying on the A2050. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A290. At the T junction turn left and squeeze round the Westgate Tower. At that roundabout turn right. Just past the car park on the right is a right hand turn over the river bridge take it. At the T junction turn left and back over the river you will see the Millers Arms on your right and the entrance to the municipal car park on the left. The Millers Arms does not have its own car park.
