Wayne and Alison would like to welcome you to our beautiful Victorian home close to the centre of Keswick. The house dates from 1890 and is built of locally mined slate. Situated in a peaceful environment and with ample unrestricted parking Cragside is within a five minute walk of the town centre. Fitz park with its sporting facilities is just three minutes walk away and the picturesque lake of Derwentwater less than ten minutes walk. All of our rooms are very well appointed comfortable and have fine unobstructed views of the surrounding fells. All rooms are en-suite have adjustable central heating Digital Freeview TV DVD Free WiFi hairdryers heated towel rails towels tea & coffee making facilities clock radio alarms and many other features. One of our rooms can be used as a double twin or triple. The other room at the front of the house can be used as a double twin or family room as it has a double and single bed. Both of these rooms have views onto Walla Crag. The two other rooms are double en-suite and look out onto Skiddaw (one of Englands highest peaks) and offer a high standard of accommodation in a relaxing theme. These two rooms can be used for single occupancy. After one of our hearty breakfasts including vegetarian alternatives you will be ready for a long walk on the fells or a stroll around the many shops and attractions of Keswick. Rest assured you are guaranteed a relaxing and enjoyable stay at our small friendly family run Guest House.

Directions to Cragside Guest House Keswick

By car. From the A66 take the Windermere / keswick slip into Keswick. Pass the BP Petrol station and small Fire & Ambulance station. Take the left turn into Blencathra Street. The road swings to the right and Cragside is the first Guest House on the right hand side. By Train / Bus. From Penrith train station catch the X4 or X5 bus to Keswick. get off at the Fire & Ambulance station and then follow the By car directions from the Fire & Ambulance station. The nearest airports are Newcastle manchester and Liverpool.
