The Welch Guest House - Bewdley

1 Welch Gate
Bewdley DY12 2AT

Formerly named the Pack Horse Inn & Old Posting House in the 1600 s the Welch Gate has stood the test of time throughout Bewdley s history. Bewdley was built as a stop-over town back in the 1600 s due to being the main waterway via the river Severn to Birmingham & many other towns & cities. Since then prospectors & such have increased the size of the town & its population to what it is today (12000 ) whilst maintaining its local charm. br / br / br / br / Linda & Steve took over the Welch Gate as a Fish & Chip Shop in 1985 & have built up a steady & satisfying clientele both locally & not so local.
