Suzanne and her dog welcome you into her home with an immediate cup of tea or coffee whilst showing you the open plan ground floor. br / br / The Yellow House has been open since 2003 and in that time has entertained a variety of guests from all over the world - New Zealand Australia United States Canada and from most countries in Europe. Guests can partake of breakfast in the dining room or if the weather is fine sunny and warm enough maybe out on the terrace. A full English breakfast is on offer or lighter fare if required. Vegetarians can be catered for by prior arrangement. As the Yellow House is small and in a private home - I do operate my Cinderella Rule - which is I expect my guests in for midnight. br / br / Suzanne your hostess is knowledgeable and well informed about her locality whether it is about the restaurants or the theatre or even interesting walks nearby taxis can be booked and dinners arranged. br / br / Guests stay in the specially designed loft conversion which contains an elegant and comfortable bedroom with its own ensuite shower room. The colour scheme is a restful cream and sage green with a garden theme. br / br / The Yellow House Bed and Breakfast is situated in Woodthorpe to the north of the city and can be found easily from either the M1 or the A1 with the precise directions given. So if you are travelling for pleasure or business this is a perfect spot to rest your weary head. br / br / Many people nowadays are getting tired of the uniformity of hotels when you honestly don t know where you are so why not try a different approach - a B&B for a change where you can relax and actually speak to a helpful friendly hostess.

Continue until you see signs for the Ring Road on left continue to next traffic lights (Vale pub on right) turn right into Thackerey s Lane continue to islandround and straight on after 100yards turn right into Whernside Road past a left turn to the crossroads turn left there onto Littlegreen Road. The Yellow House is No. 7 on your left after about 50 yards with a green fence and a large chestnut tree. br/ br/ Nottingham University - Road: Take the Ring Road following signs for A60 - Mansfield. Go over several islands until you arrive at a t-junction which is the A60 Mansfield Road. Turn left onto it for 100yards to lights turn right there onto Thackerey s Lane (Vale Pub on the corner) go straight over island and first right into Whernside Road drive past a left turn to the crossroads and turn left onto Littlegreen Road. The Yellow House is No 7 and on left with a green fence and a large chestnut tree. br/ br/ Nottingham Rail Station - Road: Out of the station turn left and immediately left again (alongside the station). Arriving at the lights turn left towards city centre but follow rd signs for A60 Mansfield. You will eventually arrive at the A60 Mansfield Rd follow that due North until signs for Ring Rd on left continue 100yds to next lights turn rt. (Vale Pub on corner) over island and 1st rt into Whernside Rd go past a left turn onto the crossroads turn left into Littlegreen Rd. Yellow House is no 7 on left. br/ br/ M1 junction 26 - Road: Take the A610 signed to city centre to the ring road turn left signed A60 Mansfield follow until you arrive at the t-junction with the A60 turn left and then immediate right into Thackerys Lane follow to a small island straight on first right into Whernside Road past a left turn to the crossroads that is Littlegreen Road turn left and house is on left about 100yards The Yellow House is No. 7 with a green fence and large chestnut tree in the drive. br/ br/ East Midlands airport. - Air: A453 short way to M1 Motorway (junction 24) drive North to junction 26 take the A610 into city centre until ring road turn left signed to Mansfield continue around until t-junction with A60 turn left and immediate right into Thackery s Lane then straight on to the small island straight over and first right into Whernside Road past a left turn to the crossroads turn left into Littlegreen Road the Yellow House is on the left - No 7 green fence and a large chestnut tree in the drive.
