Laskill House stands proudly in beautiful Bilsdale six miles north of Helmsley in the stunning North Yorkshire Moors National Park. br / br / br / br / It is surrounded by hills and open countryside which fringe the unique open moors. br / br / br / br / Traditionally built of Yorkshire stone in the seventies Laskill has its own private spring water supply that runs down from the hillside - definitely worth a sample. br / br / br / br / Originally built as a private residence it has just opened its doors as a contemporary Bed and Breakfast establishment whilst still retaining its rural charm.

Directions to Laskill Country House Helmsley

A1/A170 - Road: From the A1 take the A170 exit towards Thirsk. From Thirsk take the A170 to Helmsley (Scarborough road). At Helmsley follow the B1257 (Stokesley) for approx 6 milesdropping into Bilsdale valley. Do not take the Hawnby turn off. Laskill is on the left and signposted. (Red phone box at Laskill exit). Sat Navs may take you on a VERY scenic drive so are best set to Helmsley for the direct route then take the 1257 to Laskill br/ br/ Helmsley (Nearby Town) - Road: Helmsley is close to Laskill and easy to find. Laskill is then a further 6 miles north of Helmsley on the B1257 heading towards Stokesley. From Helmsley just stay on the 1257 passing turn offs for Rievaux and Hawnby. You will come the top of Newgate Bank (Sign for Bilsdale at the top) and then drop into Bilsdale. Laskill is on the left approx 1/2 mile from the bottom of Newgate Bank. Turning on the left - look out for a red phone box. We are there.
