Highfield Farm is located in the East Riding of Yorkshire in the village of Ottringham. The farm is a working arable farm with visitor accommodation located in the old granary and stables. We are set in open countryside offering comfortable and quiet en-suite accommodation. All our rooms are self-contained with ensuite facilities and their own small kitchenette. The kitchenette comprises a fridge microwave kettle toaster and associated crockery with washing up facilities. Most rooms have a desk area and wifi should you need to work or keep in contact with friends and family. We have ample free on site car parking conveniently situated adjacent to your accommodation. The farm is well positioned for those visiting the East Riding being located 20 mins from the city of Hull with all major shops available as well as the marina and the award wining aquarium The Deep. Also within easy reach are the historic market towns of Beverley and Hedon and the nature reserves on the banks of the River Humber and Spurn Point ideal for those who like to walk and are interested in wildlife and photography. Located close to the Humber River the land is flat and ideal for those who like to take a leisurely walk or cycle. The east coast is also only 15 mins away with miles of coastal walking and the traditional seaside town of Withernsea. For those travelling further afield we are 10 miles from the Hull ferry port to Rotterdam and offer an ideal base in tranquil surroundings to rest for a night before or after your North Sea crossing. By Car Travelling from the North South or East - Follow the M62 to Hull and then follow the signs for the Docks and Ferry ( A63) The A63 becomes the A1033. Follow this road past Hedon and Thorngumbald signposted for Withernsea. After passing through Keyingham you will enter the village of Ottringham. Remain on the A1033 until you pass the White Horse Public House (Ottringham Tandoori). At the crossroadsyou will see Ripon Farm Services turn left here onto Station Road and proceed up the road for 1/2 a mile and Highfield Farm is on your left. Turn up the drive and park in the yard. Travel West from Withernsea on the A1033. As you enter the village turn right at the crossroads you will see Ripon Farm Services in front of you. Turn right onto Station Road and proceed up the road for 1/2 a mile and Highfield Farm is on your left turn up the drive and park in the yard. Public Transport The nearest railway station is Hull.
