In the 1840 s two 18th Century cottages and a smithy were combined to create the Stiperstones Inn the public rooms of the Inn have since been decorated and we have added electricity and indoor plumbing but the rooms retain their original floor plan creating a charming traditional Inn with warm cosy rooms complete with open fireplaces and wood panelling. br / br / br / br / Open everyday from 11:30am the Inn is a traditional free-house which has been in our family for over 45 years. The Stiperstones Inn has a public bar lounge bar beer garden two dining rooms and two beautifully comfortable en-suite letting bedrooms. We offer morning coffee afternoon tea and real ale. Between 12:00pm and 9:00pm we serve a full menu with over 30 main courses including: vegetarian vegan gluten and dairy free options in either of our two dining rooms or by one of the roaring log fires in the lounge and bar areas.

Directions to The Stiperstones Inn Shrewsbury

A488 - Road: The village nestles under the western edge of the Stiperstones a range of hills running parallel with the Longmynd. It is 12 miles SW of Shrewsbury - follow the A488 and turn left at Plox Green. br/ br/ Shrewsbury - Road: When approaching from Shrewsbury take the A488 (Bishops Castle road) through Hanwood Pontesbury and Minsterley. Approximately 1 mile after passing through Minsterley turn left at Plox Green (signposted to Snailbeach and Stiperstones). Follow the road up through Snailbeach and on reaching the village of Stiperstones the Inn is on your left.
