Our aim is to offer comfortable affordable accommodation close to local amenities making a peaceful base for you to enjoy your break in this beautiful area. br / br / A warm welcome awaits all our visitors. We have refurbished our bedrooms and en-suites to provide everything you may need. Breakfast is included normally served between 8am & 9am and consists of fruit juice and cereals from the sideboard local tea & coffee (D J Miles) and full English breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. If you have any special requirements please let us know beforehand and we will do our best to source them for you. If you need an earlier start we can cook for you or provide bacon and sausage butties to go br / br / We have our own dog (Becks) and one of our rooms is set aside for people who wish to bring their dog with them to enjoy the opportunity of walking in the surrounding countryside - please call us to arrange this. We provide a Doggie box with a blanket bowls poo bags treats a toy and old towels for muddy paws. br / br / Exmoor National Park provides lots of activities across it s 267 square miles of unique landscape with moorland steep valleys woodlands and farmland. The Vale of Porlock is where Exmoor rolls down to the sea. You can enjoy walking riding cycling shooting to name but a few all within easy reach of Hunters Lodge and Porlock village is a two minute walk away with boutique shops restaurants and tea shops. The shingle beach is close by too with stunning scenery all round and plenty of wildlife to observe. You do need stout footwear to walk on the shingle beach as the pebbles are really large and the shingle ridge is quite steep. br / br / PLEASE NOTE: We can only accept CASH ONLY as means of payment at the property.

. - Road: By Car-sat nav postcode is:TA24 8NE Travelling south on the M5-Junction 23 Bridgewater-A39 follow signs for Minehead then Porlock Travelling north on the M5-Junction 25 Taunton-A358/A39 follow signs for Minehead/Porlock Once in Porlock after dropping down the steep and past the war memorial on your right take the next turning right (Meadowhayes) and turn left at the bottom of the hill into Sparkhayes Lane we are the first driveway on your left. (Opposite Sparkhayes campsite)
