Located in the beautiful Somerset countryside close to the medieval city of Wells Worth House dates back 400 years. Ideally located for exploring Somerset and visiting the local attractions including Wookey Hole Caves Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge. Relax in the former farmhouse with parts dating to the 16th Century. Views of the Mendip hills and farmland from all rooms the house offers a perfect setting to escape from the stress of modern living. br / br / br / br / The Pheasant pub is less than a 10 minute walk and there are many country pubs within a few miles. Whether you want to explore the history of the local area relax in the countryside or be more energetic climbing or caving there is something for everyone. Guests can relax in the comfortable living room with views of the garden. br / br / br / br / Start your day with a hearty breakfast using locally sourced products. We use the local butcher in Wells F.Griffiths and Sons and of course can cater for special dietary requirements. Please advise when making your reservation. br / br / br / br / Breakfast will vary according to the time of year. A full English will always be available with the addition of toasted bagels with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs in the warmer months and Sarah s cinnamon porridge in the winter. (we can leave the cinnamon out if you prefer). br / br / Upon your arrival we will request your preferences so we can get it just right for you. br / br / br / br / If you are travelling in a group and would like a special dinner together this can be organised. br / br / We can also provide a packed lunch if you are going out on a day trip. Directions to Worth House Wells

Wells - Road: From Wells follow the B3139 towards Wedmore and Burnham on Sea. You will pass The Pheasant pub and Wookey Primary School on the left. Keep going a little further and we are round the next bend on the left.
