Situated opposite the West Lyn Gorge within Exmoor National Park Woodlands Guesthouse is a fine detached Victorian house offering 6 luxury guest bedrooms with elegant yet contemporary facilities. Woodlands which featured on Channel 4 Four in a Bed in October 2016 has free guest parking and Wi-Fi. br / br / br / br / Each Super King sized and Superior Double bedroom boasts a mini bar 32 flat screen TV and complimentary tea tray with range of teas and biscuits. The ensuite wet rooms are fitted with power showers underfloor heating and anti-mist mirrors. Complimentary toileties and mineral water are also provided. br / br / br / br / Guests have the use of an elegant lounge and breakfast is served in a spacious light and airy dining room with views over the West Lyn Gorge. br / br / Steve and Lesley have owned Woodlands since April 2015 and take pride in providing a high quality breakfast menu with a range of vegetarian options in addition to tradiitional fare. They are keen to promote good health choices so Meusli and Granola are home made. Freshly prepared green juices and smoothies are also available. br / br / Steve is a keen and accomplished cook and evening meals are available upon request. Alternatively a range of simple one course plates and sharing platters are also available for those who do not require a three course evening meal. Lesley is a very experienced and accomplished sports massage therapist and guest massage treatments are available on request. br / br / br / br / Woodlands is situated close to many local attractions including the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway The Valley of Rocks the Exmoor Heritage Coast with Southwest Coastal Path. Surfing and body-boarding can also be found at the fabulous beaches of Saunton Croyde and Woolacombe (45 mins by car).

Lynton and Lynmouth - Road: From the top of Lynmouth Hill turn left to Lynbridge. Woodlands Car Park is located on left hand side after approx 200 yards. Woodlands Guesthouse is located on the hill opposite the Car Park. br/ br/ Barnstaple - Bus: Take the bus for Lynton at Barnstaple Bus Station. Please note that there is no bus service on Sundays.
