BCC Loch Ness Glamping is a small unique family run location at the Bearnock Country Centre. Located on the River Enrick between Loch Ness and Glen Affric in delightful Glen Urquhart you will find all manner of exciting walks and activities to enjoy. Take a cruise on Loch Ness explore the vast ruins of historic Urquhart Castle discover the bronze age stone circle at Corrimony enjoy dozens of nearby walks fish in the river and visit Glen Affric - the last vestige of the original Caledonian Forest which once covered most of Scotland. Also nearby is the famous Loch Ness Exhibition Centre in beautiful Drumnadrochit which has a number of cafes and restaurants. Please see the useful links on our Links page. The Bearnock Country Centre is on a quiet country road close to the Great Glen Way and the new Kintail Way terrific for those who want a longer trek. Our country centre regularly has deer wandering around from the tiny roe to the huge red stags. Keep those cameras nearby. Glamping Puts The Glamour Into Camping. We have five hand built Hobbit Houses and 2 Micro Lodges in a wooded glade sleeping from one to three people plus 1 child. Cots are available on request. There are multiple benefits to glamping. The lodges are all weatherproof dry and secure when you are out. Plus they have plenty of storage space and save all of that messing around with tents. Our Hobbit Houses are light and airy have comfortable mattresses WiFi mains power a central covered BBQ cooking area and a modern toilet and shower block. This is the perfect location to relax and rest away from the pressures of everyday life. Just enjoy the tranquil site the surrounding area or venture further afield. From here you can tour a vast amount of the Highlands without doubling back on yourself. We are sorry we do not accept payment by card. Payment is by cash only. A warm Scottish welcome awaits you.

From Inverness: Follow the A82 (signposted Fort William) turn right onto the A831 and you will arrive at Drumnadrochit. Then follow the signs for Cannich. BCC Loch Ness Glamping is approximately 6 miles after the Cannich turn off. From Fort William: Follow the A82 then turn left at the A831 to arrive in Drumnadrochit. Follow the signs for Cannich. BCC Loch Ness Glamping is approximately 6 miles after the Cannich turn off. TRAVELLING BY AIR Inverness Airport is approximately 30 miles away. TRAVELLING BY BUS Scottish City Link provides a regular fast bus service all over the Highlands. It is advisable that tickets are booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
