This guest house was started in September 2015 and immediately voted as outstanding for comfort cleanliness and above average attention to detail. The hostess is a charming and easy going lady who always has the comfort of her guests uppermost in her mind. The guest house has been newly refurbished to the highest standards. The guest rooms are fitted out with the latest innovations for your comfort. You may have a long perfumed bath and dry your hair while watching the TV fitted as standard in every room. All this would be superfluous if there were rigid rules but guests may book in at their leisure breakfast at their leisure and partake of the most sumptuous freshly cooked breakfast. There are three guest bed rooms all with lounging areas. The whole complex is surrounded by a free car park and eleven acres of fields nearby. You may see horses and the occasional donkey come to visit you. This is a veritable nature lovers paradise. There are two streams and ample opportunity for bird watchers. You may even see an especially rare specimen of bird to make your holiday complete. The beautiful hills are the home to many a species of wildlife. As you walk through this carefree land with the children running around you will be in a different world and that is the intention. Venture a few miles to Llanstephan and walk along the sandy beach and wonder at the opposite bay where Dylan Thomas s boathouse can be clearly seen. When you do come back to earth with a bump you will find that the village of Banc y Felin has a post office and a village store as well as the Fox and Hounds which serves the usual fare but also the most delicious Thai food is at the nearby village of Llanybri in the village pub The Farmers Arms.

Directions to Pantysgyfarnog Carmarthen

Turn off the duel carriageway (A40 ) signposted Llangynog. Continue around the bends at the bottom of the hill then the road straightens and almost at the top on the left hand side you will see a large white farmhouse with wooden fencing and signs Pantysgyfarnog Bed and Breakfast. At night the outside lights will be left on if arriving late.
