Welcome to the Talbot at Iwerne Minster in the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside. br / br / br / br / The Talbot was purchased by Heartstone Inns in October 2016 and has since undergone a tasteful development of the bar and restaurant along with the introduction of a completely new food and drink menu. We have five rooms all en suite with flat screen TVs and tea and coffee making facilities. br / br / br / br / At the Talbot you will find great simple pub food which will complement the food offered by our sister pub the Cricketers in Shroton. You will also find a well-stocked bar with a fine selection of wines and ales and a warm welcome from your host Ellie Abel and her team. The Talbot also offers a selection of well-appointed guest rooms so you can relax and stay with us as well! br / br / br / br / We offer a great range of quick tasty menu options throughout the day from 8 am to 5 pm along with breakfasts from 8 am to 11 am and hot lunches from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm and a fantastic range of beverages including soft drinks teas and delicious freshly made coffee. Our welcoming and cosy bar will be open in the evenings for drinks and bar snacks. We are however closed on Monday s and Thursdays between 3-5pm. br / br / br / br / You can find us on the main Shaftesbury to Blandford Forum road opposite Clayesmore School and very close to the ever popular Wessex Ridgeway walk and Hambledon Hill.

Directions to The Talbot Blandford Forum

Blandford forum - Road: Situated on the A350 between Blandford and Shaftesbury. If coming from Blandford simply head on the A350 for 15 minutes and the Talbot will be on the right hand side of the road. br/ br/ shaftesbury - Road: Head towards Blandford on Lower Blandford Rd/A350 for 6 miles and The Talbot will be on the left hand side of the right after you enter iwerne minster.
