Set in its own grounds Coinachan Guest House is in a perfect location just off A82 between Fort William and Inverness on the Gairlochy road (B8004). This 18th century house with its old byre boasts spectacular views in every direction - the Grey Corries Aonach Mor Ben Nevis Glen Spean and the Great Glen. br / br / br / br / Take a short walk to the Commando Memorial or take the Highbridge path to Spean Bridge village or head down to the Caledonian Canal and Great Glen Way. Fall asleep in our luxurious beds (all B&B accommodation is en-suite) and wake up to a wonderful breakfast just a bit out of the ordinary - fresh baked waffles smoked salmon powerhouse eggs or grilled plate - made with the best local (and whenever possible organic) ingredients. br / br / br / br / With advanced notice we are happy to cater hearty packed lunches. br / br / br / br / Our three guest rooms are named for the spectacular views we have from Coinachan. Our Aonach Mor double room and Grey Corries twin room are on the lower/ground level. Upstairs our Lochy Munros room can be set up as kingsize or two twin beds. It also includes a contemporary sofa that folds out to a very comfortable queensize bed making this a family room. Rooms have Egyptian cotton towels and cotton sateen bedlinens with wonderfully light and warm duvets and extra cashmere and alpaca blankets.

Glasgow Airport - Air: Driving time from Glasgow Airport is about 2 hr 45 min. Follow the A82 north to 1 mile beyond Spean Bridge. Turn left at the Commando Memorial to Gairlochy Road B8004. We are on the right 100 yards from the A82 and the Memorial. (Prestwick Airport is south of Glasgow and is about 140 miles (225 km) and about 3 hr 45 min driving time.) br/ br/ Inverness Airport - Air: Inverness is our nearest regional airport with daily UK and some European flights. Driving time is about 1 hr 30 min. From the airport follow the A96 south and after about 6 miles take the third exit on to the A9 at Raigmore Interchange roundabout and then the first exit at the Longman roundabout on to the A82 south to Fort William. Turn right at the Commando Memorial onto the Gairlochy Road B8004. We are on the right 100 yards (90 m) from the A82 and Memorial. br/ br/ Glasgow - Road: Driving time is about 2 hr 45 min from Glasgow Airport. Follow the A82 north through Fort William to 1 mile beyond Spean Bridge. Turn left at the Commando Memorial on to the Gairlochy Road B8004. We are on the right 100 yards from the A82 and the Memorial. br/ br/ Edinburgh - Road: Depending on route driving time varies but is about 3 hours. One route is the M90/A9 via Bruar turning at Dalwhinnie to the A86 via Roy Bridge. In Spean Bridge turn right onto the A82 and follow for 1 mile and turn left at the Commando Memorial on to the Gairlochy Road B8004. We are on the right 100 yards (90 m) from the A82 and Memorial. The alternative route from Edinburgh is via Stirling Doune and Callander on the A84 which joins the A82 at Crianlarich. br/ br/ Isle of Skye - Road: From Skye take the A87 towards Invergarry watching that you don t miss the right turn on the A87. (If you miss the turn you will continue on the A887 to the A82 at Invermoriston). Continue on the A87 to the A82 south at Invergarry. After about 14 miles turn right on to the B8004 at the Commando Memorial. We are on the right about 100 yards past the Memorial entrance on the B8004.
