arles Darwin House is the home of four charitable societies active in the Biosciences (The Biochemical Society, Society of Biology, British Ecological Society and the Society of Experimental Biology) and a London hub for the subject. As well it houses a newly built conference centre which boasts a state of the art lecture theatre seating up to 130, a collection of smaller meeting rooms and breakout areas with space for trade exhibitions and poster display. Charles Darwin House London is easily accessible by public transport making it an ideal location to host UK-based and international events. The building has also been awarded BREEAM Excellence Award for 'The Code for Sustainable Buildings' in 2010 .
