The village is a small traditional Highland village and famous for the Pack Horse Bridge over the River Dulnain, a tributary of the River Spey. Excellent base for sight seeing including Loch Ness, the Cairngorms, Whisky Trail, the RSPB osprey site at Loch Garten and several castles including Cawdor and Ballindalloch. Other activities include walking, brird watching, cycling, golfing and fishing.
