Housed in the grounds and buildings of an original WWII Prisoner of War Camp, a visit to our multi-award winning museum will transport you back in time to experience the sights, sounds and even the smells of life on both the Home Front and Front Line of Britain during the Second World War. The most detailed and comprehensive collection of British 20th Century military history and 1940's social history in the world. Our museum also covers the Great War (WWI) and we have a growing collection of military vehicles, artillery pieces and aircraft display around our site. Full catering facilities available on site, Gift Shop, free car parking, children's puppet show and play area (weather permitting) Dogs are allowed on site, on the lead and kept under control. Our site is wheelchair friendly (manual wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge - prior booking recommended.)
