Long Mountain B & B in Welshpool is near Powis Castle, a National Trust Property, hill-walking, cycling trails, Offa's Dyke Path, Glyndwr's Way, lakes, canoeing and ancient walks, this part of Wales also offers excellent golf courses, modern leisure centres, bike rentals, horse-riding, hiking, fishing, shooting, exploring, steam railway, picnicking and hang-gliding ... and the beautiful rolling hills of Mid Wales. Our luxury Bed & Breakfast in Welshpool, Mid Wales, is perfectly placed to provide a comfortable base for these activities or to escape for a relaxing holiday. LONG MOUNTAIN B & B has been awarded a four star Visit Wales grading. Decorated in warm colours with oak furnishings, the purpose built Bed & Breakfast is an extension of the original timber framed house, believed to be around 400 years old. Long Mountain B&B has a separate dining room, which has a lovely view over the Breidden Hills and the garden with its varied birdlife. The bed and breakfast accommodation is on the first floor and is unsuitable for animals and children.

Rooms: Our three en suite bedrooms are named after famous people and are suitable for 2 adults. The Carradoc, The Powis and The Elystan room all offer super-king or king size beds with Egyptian bed linen and duvets, solid oak furniture including large dressing tables/desks, generous wardrobe space and a welcome tray to make comforting hot drinks with biscuits and fresh milk. Two of the rooms have zip-link beds which can be configured as superking or twin beds. Please advise your preference when booking. All bedrooms are large with marble en-suite shower rooms or a bathroom. Snug bathrobes, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and luxurious fluffy bath towels all help to ensure a comfortable stay. Flat screen TVs with Freeview and an integral DVD player are provided together with hair dryers, free WiFi and hospitality trays in all rooms. All beds are large with deep quality mattress and luxury quilts and pillows. Fresh flowers and plants in the corridor and dining room.
