Madsen Restaurant
The leading Scandinavian restaurant in London. For lunch Madsen offers delicious open sandwiches and warm dishes that are best paired with their Danish micro brewery beers and traditional Akvavit. The seasonal dinner menu features traditional and modern Nordic dishes with an emphasis on the Danish and Swedish cuisine. Traditions are kept at Madsen so special home-cooked menus are created for crayfish parties, National days, Easter, Christmas etc. Madsen prides itself of its Scandinavian design heritage with Ph lamps, contemporary furniture and blond wooden floors. Also, a sustainability view of thinking is an important factor at Madsen therefore menus are sure to be recyclable, in house water filtration is used, blankets are provided instead of heaters and much more. The Madsen team is all of Scandinavian origin and is run by Charlotte Madsen (Director), Karolina Vithen (Restaurant Manager) Esben Muhlig Sørensen (Head Chef). The restaurant is situated right outside the vibrating South Kensington Tube station and in close vicinity of the Royal Albert Hall, the V&A Museum and walking distance from Hyde Park.
