Prices at Oak Bank Hotel Grasmere from £40 to £93 pppn Nestled in Grasmere Village in the heart of the English Lake District, Oak Bank Hotel Grasmere is perfectly placed to explore the surrounding lakes, fells and tarns. Glynis & Simon Wood have owned and managed Oak Bank Hotel Grasmere since April 2007, ably assisted by a small team of staff. Oak Bank is a three silver starred hotel with two lounges both with plenty of comfy sofas and armchairs to relax in. The front lounge has a converted range and the bar lounge has a real log/coal fire and unsurprisingly a bar! Breakfast and dinner are served in The Dining Room, our Two AA Rosette awarded and Michelin recommended beautiful dining room and conservatory overlooking the garden which you are welcome to sit in or walk down to see the River Rothay as it passes by on its way to Grasmere. Oak Bank has thirteen individually decorated en-suite Bedrooms in three different grades to suit your requirements: One Standard Room has a king size Somnus bed and a shower room en-suite. It is situated on the first floor. Superior Rooms, of which there are four, are slightly larger and have king size Somnus beds in one room and Somnus super-king or twin beds in three rooms. In Room 11 we can fit a Z-Bed in to take a third person. They all have en-suite bathrooms with a shower over the bath and are all situated on the first floor. We have two Balcony rooms that have modern wicker chairs on the south facing balcony that overlooks the garden, and in the bedroom, king size beds in both, Balcony one has a cuddle sofa and Balcony two modern high backed chairs, both rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a shower over the bath and are situated on the first floor. Our Superior View Bedrooms are all on the second floor and have Somnus king size beds and en-suite bathrooms with a rain shower over the double ended bath and a hand held shower too. The rooms are numbered 7, 8, 9 and 10, Room 10 is larger with a sofa and also a separate area for it's wardrobe and dressing table. The two Superior Plus Rooms are both different: Room 15 is a large room on the first floor and has VI Spring super-king or twin beds, a sofa that can convert into a small double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the double ended bath. The Acorn Suite is a large room on the ground floor and has its own front door, VI Spring super-king or twin beds, seating area, and a spa bathroom en-suite. The bath does have a shower attachment but you are not able to stand under the shower. All Bedrooms have a flat screen Television with the available Freeview and Radio Channels for Cumbria (Freesat in Superior View rooms, Hospitality Tray, including complimentary Still and Sparkling Lakeland Willow Spring Water, Hairdryer, Shaver Socket and Bath House Toiletries.

Breakfast: Breakfast offers a great choice of dishes including the Oak Bank Grill, minute steak with fried egg and caramelised onions, smoked salmon & scrambled egg, haddock & poached egg, grilled kipper, or a lighter breakfast of freshly baked croissants and that's not all!
