Founded in 2009, the business is located in North Leeds. SB Sports Massage Leeds is owned by Sally Barker who has been involved in the Sports industry for several years. Having previously qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Science, Sally Barker has gained a UCAPD in Sports Massage to specialise in the Sports Massage and Injury Rehabilitation sectors. SB Sports Massage Leeds has an expanding network of clients, located throughout the region. As well as running a private practice, Sally does some work at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Manchester where she provides soft tissue massage to elite athletes, able-bodied and those with disability, who compete for Great Britain in cycling, swimming, squash and taekwondo. She provided massage support to world class squash players at the British Open in 2010 and has worked with England Netball on their 2011 Test Series tour against New Zealand. She worked with the England Women’s Rugby League Team as their Sports Masseur during the 2009/2010 season and toured France with the squad in July 2009. She has also supported the New Zealand Men’s Rugby League squad with massage during their 2009 Four Nations Tour of the UK and France.
