The Jug and Bottle
The Jug adn Bottle is located in a stunning, renovated old victorian school building and is a mulit award winning real ale and cider off licence, deli and gift shop. Only 99% of stock cannot be found in the supermarkets or on the high street. We aim to make you very welcome whilst you browse round the shop. You can sample the real ales and ciders before you buy to take away in Jugs. Within The Jug and Bottle York there are over 500 bottles of beer, cider, lager, spirits and wines to choose from. There is a great range of cheese, pies & pasties, olives, pate and other deli goodies as well as fresh bread and cakes. The shop also have a wide range of foods from jars, oils, pasta, nibbles, cakes, sweet & savoury biscuits, chocolate and ice cream. Giftware the shop has suits all ages and has goods with the shop's name on to remind you of your stay, locally. Recent awards are for; Best Retailer for Real Ale in a bottle, Best Food & Drink Shop in Humberside and for Rennovating the Building.
