We provide you with a city centre located simple clean comfortable flat with well-equiped self-catering facilities. It is easy to walk to shops restaurants and sightseeing attractions. You don't need to use your car to visit the city during your stay. Your host Betty previously ran a successful English Bed and Breakfast in York where she very much enjoyed welcoming guests from all over the world some from the UK and others from the United States the Far East including Japan and from many other countries. Room occupancy is a maximum of four people of which can include children.

By train:It only takes about 15 minutes to walk from York railway station. If you have got lots of luggage I would suggest you take a bus from just outside the station. Buses no.1 5 6 only take about 5 7 mins. You get off at the Gillygate stop then walk back about 50 yards and our flat is on your right hand side.By car:From York outer ring road A1237 turn into the A19 towards York city centre. When you reach the end of Bootham (the continuation of the A19) turn left into Gillygate then turn 1st left into Portland Street.
