The most common entry to Bath is from the M4DIRECTIONS TO LAVENDER HOUSE Bath FROM M4 MOTORWAY.Leaving the M4 at junction 18 take the A46 southbound towardsBath. After about 8 miles look out for road signs to get in lane forBath A4 Warminster (A36) and A4 West. Take the third exit off theroundabout and follow the A4 for Bath City Centre.After about 1 mile at Cleveland Place turn left at the traffic lightsfollowing signs for through traffic and University. Cross the bridgeand at the traffic lights turn right following signs for Bristol A36(A4)and Wells (A39).You will need to stay on the A36 for about one mile passing straightahead at a roundabout and one set of traffic lights and following theroad as it divides into dual carriageway before reaching theChurchill Bridge roundabout and railway viaduct. At thisroundabout take the first exit signposted Shepton Mallet (A37) andRadstock A367.
