The Witchingham is located close to Holyhead Port (with ferries departing daily to Dunlaoghaire and Dublin) and close to Holyhead Railway Station. Both can be accessed by foot over the Celtic Bridge within 10 minutes. br / br / br / br / We provide a warm welcome to all visitors and we make a special effort to ensure the facilities that we provide are very clean and comfortable. We have recently refurbished all the rooms including the breakfast room to a high standard and continue to improve when we can. Each room is ensuite (with the exception of a single room) has WiFi HD TV and is provided with a welcome tray towels for each guest hairdryer corkscrew (wine glasses can be requested) and bedside lamps for each guest. A comfortable chair is also provided in each room. br / br / Access can be provided to the house and your room if you wish to arrive before or after the booking in times br / br / br / br / The accommodation is located within ao the beach and enjoys views from some rooms over Holyhead Harbour. Its central location means there are good pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Enjoy the stunning local scenery Coastal Path and Blue Flag beaches nearby. During the summer months a land train runs along Newry beach and July brings the Maritime Festival to the same area. br / br / br / br / Around Holyhead there is excellent fishing golfing and sailing facilities wonderful scenery walks and beaches where you can easily lose yourself and relax for a few days. There are horse stables nearby and a water sports centre where activities such as canoeing orienteering etc can be enjoyed. The local RSPB centre at South Stack boasts such birds as Puffins Choughwheatear stonechat peregrine falcon etc. and has a lovely cafe. There is a Maritime Museum and cafe located in the old lifeboat hut on the promenade at Newry Beachwithin 200 yds. br / br / br / br / From Anglesey ferries operate to Dublin with the superfast ferry only taking 99 minutes to complete the single journey. A day trip to Dublin is easily achievable.

Directions to Witchingham B&B Holyhead

A55 - Road: At the end of the dual carriageway (A55) continue straight on at the roundabout and straight on at the traffic lights. Continue straight on for approx 1 mile then around a 90 degree left hand bend. Continue along this road until you come to a mini roundabout. Turn left into Walthew Avenue. You will find the Witchingham B&B 200 yards up this road on the right. br/ br/ Railway Station - Train: Cross over into Holyhead via the Celtic Bridge. Turn right when you reach the shops and continue through the shopping centre. When you come to the road go straight on with Chadwick Newsagents to your right. Follow this road past a Chinese and Indian Restaurant the town Hall and terrace houses until you come to Bryn Golau Avenue on your left. Turn left into this road and walk to the end of this road. Witchingham B & B is opposite the end of this road.
