The hotel is only minutes away from Heartbeat Country and several other national heritage sites. The town s skyline is dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda s Abbey high on the East Cliff. One of the joys of the WH&G is the great location on a beautiful 17th Century cobbled street.This also means that access by car is for unloading only so do please consider this when arriving. The closest car park is just along Church Street. br / br / br / br / As the building is over 330 years old we do not have a lift and there are plenty of stairs so may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
