Directions to Castle Green B&B Matlock

From the South Take junction 28 of the M1 (the Alfreton exit). Turn off for the A615 to Matlock follow this road. As you descend the hill into Matlock (signposted). Red Cross HQ is just before the Total garage on the left directly opposite is Butts Drive. Continue along this private drive for approximately 150 metres to Castle Green B&B. From the Northwest Follow the A6 into Matlock town centre at the roundabout (Crown Square) go straight ahead passing Boots which is on your left. Go straight over the mini roundabout with the park on your right. At the end of the park continue passed the Total Garage on your right. Continue for 20 metres until Red Cross HQ on your right. Butts Drive is directly opposite on the left hand side. Continue along this private drive for approximately 150 metres to Castle Green B&B. From the North Take junction 29 of the M1 (the Chesterfield exit) and take the A617 again for Chesterfield. At the next roundabout take the A61 to Derby. Continue on the A61 until you get to a set of traffic lights and turn right following signs for Matlock (A632). Stay on this road (7 miles) until you get to Matlock. At the junction of the A615 (main road) turn left (the total garage is on your right. Continue for 20 metres to the Red Cross HQ signage on your right. Butts Drive is directly opposite on the left hand side. Continue along this private drive for approximately 150 metres to Castle Green B&B. Getting here by public transport Castle Green Guest House is approximately 1200 metres away and takes a few minutes taxi ride from both stations. The taxi rank is just outside both stations. The train service stops at many local villages and places of interest. There are also good links to the national rail network and a regular service runs from Matlock to Derby and Nottingham. The good transport links make much of the local area easy to explore without the need to use a car. Buses run to Matlock from Derby Sheffield and Chesterfield.
