Quarry Cottage dates back to 1703 . The cottage is constructed of local stone and resides under a picturesque slate roof. br / br / br / br / The property boasts a sloping acre of garden this south facing garden ensures maximum sunlight and daylight hours. br / br / br / br / Situated in a quiet valley away from the lights of the town you can observe the night sky on a clear night br / br / br / br / Quaint with modern touches Quarry Cottage welcomes guests year round to enjoy the features of the cottage and gardens and to experience the surrounding attractions br / br / br / br / The cottage is situated in Slade valley 1 mile from the historic harbour town of Ilfracombe. We are on the south facing side of the valley looking across to the cairn nature reserve and Tarka trail. The land behind our property is designated AONB ( area of outstanding natrual beauty) between ourselves and the coast. br / br / br / br / Our guest of room has exclusive and sole use of the lounge area to help you unwind and relax after a day out at the local attractions. br / br / br / br / Free WiFi is available throughout the cottage. br / br / br / br / Access to guest accommodation is via a flight of steps around the outside of the property. br / br / Due to our location set up a steep drive we are unfortunately not suitable accommodation for people with mobility issues.

Directions to Quarry Cottage B&B Ilfracombe

Mullacott cross - Road: On entering Ilfracombe on A361 from Mullacott at bottom of hill turn left into Church hill. Proceed up short steep hill then turn left again opposite church entrance into Belmont road. Continue along Belmont road then Slade road for about 0.75mile. Approximately 100m after the last house on the left hand side were SLOW is marked on the road Quarry cottage is located on the right hand side set back from the road up driveway. Guests are advised to park by road side and walk up our drive.
