from York heading towards Harrogate A59 - Road: On the A59 from York heading towards Harrogate. Pass the Poppleton park and ride on your left hand side from here Thistledown House is 4.7 miles on the left. Keep heading along A59 . You will come to a sign for Gordon Hall builders on your left indicate left down the dip in the road turn left. If you see the Texaco garage on the left you have gone too far. Your sat nav will say that we are on the opposite side. br/ br/ A1 junction 47 heading south - Road: From the round about head towards green hammerton follow road south. Continue along this road past Green hammerton(stay on the A59) you will see a texaco garage on your right then house on left indicate right at this point dip in the road turn right down lane. Follow signs for Thistledown House.
