Witney House is a luxury B&B within an elegant Grade II listed Georgian town house dating from the early 18th Century with three beautiful ensuite rooms. We have a guest lounge area and a breakfast room which has an original open fire place and cosy leather chairs. This opens onto a garden room with direct access to the beautiful terraced south facing walled gardens that extend to approximately one third of an acre where guests may relax or even partake in a game of croquet! br / br / br / br / The whole house has been recently renovated retaining original sash windows and shutters stone flag entrance floor and sweeping staircase to the first floor with stone mullioned windows to the Arts and Crafts inspired sections. Each room has free high speed WiFi LED smart TV and Bluetooth radio luxury mains pressure rain showers and our junior suite bathroom also has a free standing roll top bath. Each room has a luxurious king or super king bed with Egyptian cotton linens bath robes and 100 Acres paraben free toiletries. br / br / br / br / Witney is a thriving market town and a perfect location from which to explore the Cotswolds and villages Oxford City Centre (11 miles) Blenheim Palace (8.5 miles) Burford (7.5 miles) and Bicester Village (19 miles). We are located just on the edge of town within a short walk of many restaurants pubs shops and cinema. There are also beautiful walks along the River Windrush and a friendly Cotswold pub located just two doors from us. br / br / br / br / Edward Early a member of the Witney Blanket dynasty lived in the property in 1825 the old water pump feeding the stone trough on the terrace bears his initials. West End is often described as one of the most preserved streets in England many of the buildings were associated with the historically important blanket weaving industry. br / br / br / br / Witney House would make a perfect pre wedding venue or bridal suite but whatever your reason for staying with us we will endeavour to make your stay as memorable and comfortable as possible!

Oxford - Road: From Oxford take the A40 towards Cheltenham. Shortly after Cassington after approximately 9 miles the A40 becomes a dual carriageway take the exit signposted Witney East (B4022). At double mini roundabout continue straight across into West End. Witney House will be found approximately 200 yards on your left. br/ br/ Witney Town Centre - Road: Proceed along the High Street into Bridge Street at double mini roundabout turn left into West End. br/ br/ Hanborough railway station - Train: The nearest railway station is at Long Hanborough which is approximately 5 miles from Witney. With trains running hourly from London Paddington through Oxford to Great Malvern and Hereford. br/ br/ Oxford City Centre - Bus: Stagecoach provide a frequent bus service from Oxford City Centre. Take either the S1 or S2 to Witney the Staple Hall bus stop is a 3 minute walk from West End.
