Wearyall Hill Glastonbury

Description of Wearyall Hill Glastonbury

Wearyall Hill is reputedly the first landing place of Joseph of Arimathea and his companions and thrusting his staff into the ground, wearyall Hill became famous for the Holy Thorn Tree that grew from his staff. The original tree has been cut down many times but there has always been a replacement sprig from the original tree, being replanted in the same vacinity on the hill. Even at the present the Holy thorn tree is desperately trying to recover from an attack in December 2010. The views across the Somerset flats are stunning and something to see so I recommend for all who have a positive energy to visit the hill and the Holy Thorn tree and will it on it's way to becoming and remaining a strong and prominent landmark of Glastonbury.
