he Charles Cotton Hotel is located in the picturesque village of Hartington in the heart of Peak District National Park. The hotel has been providing food and accommodation to travellers and guests for the last two hundred and seventy five years. Our rooms offer all the facilities one would expect of a classic coaching inn; we are ideally situated for anyone wanting to explore the Peak Park and welcome walkers and dogs. Our cosy bar with it's open fire serves a changing selection of real ales including the local Hartington beers brewed in the village by Whim Ales. As all our food is freshly cooked we are happy to help with any allergies or other special requirements you may have.

Directions to Charles Cotton Hotel Buxton

Guests travelling north on the M1 should leave at junction 23A and those travelling south at junction 24. Take the A50 to Sudbury then take the A515 to Ashbourne.From Ashbourne take the A515 towards Buxton after about 10 miles turn left on to B5054sign posted to Hartington. Follow road for 2 miles into village. We are in the centre of the village in the Market Place.
