17th century converted woollen mill on the banks of the River Clwyd between Ruthin and Corwen. Hafannedd is located on the A494 within easy reach of North Wales' major tourist attractions including the Snowdonia National Park.We have two self-catering apartments the Studio and the Mill (both sleep up to five) available within the former mill building. The grounds extend to almost 2 acres and include a paddock for games a barbecue area and riverside seating area. The Studio occupies the top floor of the former mill and consists of one large studio room with one or two separate bedrooms bathroom and extra toilet; it has an independent external staircase entrance. The Studio also contains a double sofa-bed TVvideoDVD and kitchen area with refrigerator microwave sink and hob. The Mill contains two or three bedrooms which can configured to your needs and having access with no steps and a 'sitting bath' and shower is suitable for persons with reduced mobility. It also has a lounge with TVDVD and a kitchen with sink cooker microwave refrigerator etc The amenity area serves the Mill and Studio and includes storage roomdrying area with washer and a computer printer and scanner with broadband connection for guest use. WiFI is available throughout the building. The property is fully centrally heated and both apartments have wood-burning stoves. There is ample parking within the grounds. Prices are fully inclusive of all linen towels fuel electricity and basic foodstuffs - more than enough for breakfasts or a snack on arrival. Bookings can be made for exactly the period you want with a minimum of two nights at any time of the year. Please note we CANNOT accept bookings from single sex groups.

Directions to Hafannedd Clawdd-newydd

Hafannedd Clawdd-newydd is located in central North Wales about an hour by car from Liverpool or 45 minutes from Chester. Manchester Airport is one and a half hours away Liverpool Airport about an hour and a quarter. Hafannedd Clawdd-newydd has its own entrance directly off the A494 between Ruthin and Corwen. If you are coming from the north (Ruthin) after passing through Pwllglas look out for the old chapel on the left of the road go round the bend past the chapel and our entrance is immediately on the right. From the south (Corwen) after passing through Bryn Saith Marchog look out for a layby on the right with a small postbox and row of cottages; our entrance is opposite.
