Directions to Punchbowl Inn Askham

From the South: On the M6 leave the motorway at junction 39. Take A6 through Shap and Hackthorpe. Approx 400 meters outside Hackthorpe take the left turn to Askham. Straight on at the cross roads over 3 cattle grids through The Lowther Estate follow the road sharp right over the bridge past St. Peters Church. We are on the left up the hill. From the North:Leave the M6 at junction 40. Follow the signs for Shap A6. Through Eamont Bridge and Clifton. Approx. 1.5 miles after Clifton take the right turn to Askham. Turn right at the crossroads over 3 cattle grids through The Lowther Estate follow the road sharp right over the bridge past St Peters Church. We are on the left up the hill.
