The Kings Arms is a quaint and cosy pub run by a small team of family and close friends. We endeavor to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which our customers can comfortably enjoy their stay with us. In the summertime our large trade garden provides a safe environment for children. During the cold winter months our open fire is always an irresistible magnet. We serve a home cooked meals Monday - Saturday. Or enjoy one of our Sunday Roasts with a tempting home made dessert. We are located close to the historic town of Colchester where you can visit the famous castle we also are near to the excellent Colchester zoo. There is a bus stop directly outside of the pub with regular buses that can take you to Colchester or Chelmsford. There is also a nearby train station in Marks Tey with a direct line to London. We do not have a 24 hour concierge and last check in is at 22.30.

A12 (Chelmsford) - Road: Head north toward Duke St. Exit the roundabout onto Victoria Rd/A1099. Turn left onto Springfield Rd/B1137. Go through 1 roundabout. Merge onto A138 via the ramp to London/A12/Colchester/Stansted Airport/Basildon/Boreham/A130/B1137. Merge onto A12 via the ramp to Colchester/Harwich/Felixstowe. At junction 25 take the A120 (W) exit to Stansted Airport/Marks Tey. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Coggeshall Rd/A120. Go through 2 roundabouts. Destination will be on the right.
