Dating back from the 15th Century and oozing with history Mayfield is now a charming family home where we welcome our guests with open arms. The house stands in the centre of its own grounds situated down a no through road so it is a little haven of peace and tranquillity. There is a swimming pool and a tennis court which can be used by our guests on request to liven up a summer evening. We provide a delicious English Breakfast made with local home grown produce and a two or three course dinner the latter being by request. br / br / br / br / The hamlet of West Grafton is 7 miles south of the famous market town of Marlborough Wiltshire and 7 miles west of Hungerford Berkshire. Hungerford is well known for its beautiful antique shops. br / br / br / br / Mayfield is a spring board for many famous landmarks and towns being under half an hour from such places as Stonehenge and the famous stones of Avebury and within an hour from Bath Salisbury Oxford and Heathrow Airport. br / br / br / br / It is right in the centre of the mysterious crop circles and the famous White Horses which are carved into the chalky hillsides.

In Hungerford take the A338 signed Salisbury and follow this road for about 7 miles passing through the village of East Grafton. Approximately mile after East Grafton turn left by the post box to West Grafton and Mayfield is about 350 yards down the lane on the right. br/ br/ The West Country - Road: Directions From the West Country and A 303 Leave the A303 on the A338 signed Marlborough and Tidworth. Stay on this road for about 12 miles and at the Burbage roundabout take the 4th exit toward Hungerford. Continue for nearly 1 mile and turn right by the post box signed West Grafton. Mayfield is about 350 yards down this lane on the right. br/ br/ Marlborough - Road: Directions from Marlborough Take the A346 Salisbury road for about 6 miles and at the Burbage roundabout take the 2nd turning towards Hungerford. Continue for nearly 1 mile and turn right by the post box signed West Grafton. Mayfield is about 350 yards down this lane on the right.
