Directions to The Lodge BETWS-Y-COED

On leaving the A5 at Conwy Falls Cafe please follow the B4406 to Penmachno. On entering the village come over the bridge in the centre of the village with the church on your right. The Eagles Hotel is directly in front of you - please turn right off the main road at the Eagles keeping to the left past a short row of terraced houses. Follow this single track road out of the village past Penmachno Hall up a short steep hill towards the forest. The road widens slightly to form a Y junction - do not take the right hand fork up the hill towards the riding stables & National Trust property but keep left down the single track no-through road. Approximately half a mile from the junction turn left directly after the first house Plas Newydd down a short track to a group of farm buildings. The lodge is situated here through the right hand wooden gates.
