We are a typical village pub set in the centre of the village of Cattistock. For 3 years we have been voted Dorset s Best Pub in the Taste of Dorset Awards and this is something we are very proud of. We offer 3 rooms which are situated above the pub there are 2 double ensuite rooms and a twin room which has its own private bathroom but which is seperate to the bedroom itself. The double rooms also have a double futon in them so if necessary they can become a family room (please enquire about this when booking). There is parking at the rear of the pub and a pub garden. Dogs are welcome in the rooms and the pub. All prices are room only prices and do not include breakfast. The pub does not stay open all day which means check in times are a little restricted. We are open between 12.00 - 2.30 and then from 6.00pm - 11.00pm. If you arrive outside of these opening hours you may not be able to gain access to the pub. If you know you are likely to arrive when the pub is shut please phone us in advance with your arrival time and we can ensure we are on the premises to show you to your room. It is also recommended that you book a table in advance of your arrival if you would like to have dinner with us. If you have any other questions please don t hesitate to call us. Its IMPORTANT to note the pub opens at 7pm on a Monday (serving both food and drink) if you are booked to stay on a Monday evening and want to arrive earlier than 7pm please contact us in advance. On Bank Holiday Mondays we are closed Monday Evenings. Our food offering can be described as really good home cooked pub food . We don t like to call ourselves a gastropub but we do take a pride in our cooking and also offer some lovely real ales ciders and a comprehensive wine list. Please note: Laterooms do not take any payment. Payment should be made to the Fox and Hounds prior to departing.

You will see Cattistock signposted off the A37. Cattistock is located between Yeovil and Dorchester. The Fox & Hounds is opposite the playground in the centre of the village of Cattistock.
