To the rear is a large beer garden that is covered by the sun all day but sheltered from the wind making it an ideal place to spend your afternoon s in the sunshine with a nice cold beer. The Coach and Horses is the only pub within the town centre with a pool table and with regular drink promotions. br / br / br / br / We are central to the shops and within walking distance from Bowes Museum which is housed in a 19th century French-style chateau and we aren t too far from the ruins of Barnard Castle.
