Known locally as Low House for its low-lying position the King s Head at Laxfield is a magnificent 15th century thatched inn. br / br / br / br / One of only a handful of pubs in the UK the King s Head doesn t have a bar! Instead it boasts a traditional tap room where beer is served straight from the barrel. br / br / br / br / Although we re an intimate pub chock full of original features historical photographs solid oak furniture and a fabulous open fire with a delicious local ale in your hand the King s Head has plenty of spaces for you to sit with friends or enjoy some peace and quiet.

Directions to Kings Head Laxfield Woodbridge

Diss - Road: Head south on the A140 for a very short distance before turning left onto the B1118 signposted to Stradbroke. When you arrive at T junction in Stradbroke (with a Spar opposite) turn left onto the B1117. Follow this to Laxfield. When you arrive in the village continue past the Co-Op and turn left immediately after the Royal Oak pub. We are nestled behind it down the next left turn which is Gorams Mill Lane. br/ br/ Southwold - Road: Follow the A12 south turning right at the A144 towards Walpole. At the T junction in Walpole turn left onto the B1117. Continue towards Heveningham. Once through Heveningham the road turns sharp right towards the village of Laxfield. As you arrive turn right onto Bickers Hill Road. You can t miss us on the left! br/ br/ Framlingham - Road: From the castle turn left onto Castle Street. At the end turn left onto the B1120. Follow all the way until you see a pub called the White Horse Inn where you need to turn left (onto Low St). After Badingham Low St turns a sharp right. Continue to the junction with the B1117 where you need to turn left towards Laxfield. Continue all the way to the village turning right down Bickers Hill Road. We are there on your left hand side.
