As with its name sake, Dr Brighton's is something of a Brighton institution. With a plum position on Brighton's seafront, close to The Lanes, hotels and Brighton's clubland, this mixed venue serves up a big portion of the city's inimitable character. Views across the sea make it a popular place to sit outside during the summer months, and the cosy interior draws the crowds in the winter - it's a year round favourite of those in the know. A pool table is on hand for those handy with a cue and the new Quiz machine also provides entertainment - but the squashy sofas, chilled out vibe and relaxed atmosphere lend well to kicking back with friends.
